Trading on the Dexes Marketplace

  • What is the Dexes Marketplace?
    A place where supply and demand for data products and services meet.
  • How do I register on the Dexes Marketplace?
    You can register via this page: https://dexes.eu/en/become-a-member.
  • What can I do on the Dexes Marketplace?
    You can upload services and data, and discover products from other providers. We offer both open data products, accessible to everyone, and content from the DMI ecosystem, which requires membership.
  • Can I access offerings from the WeCity marketplace via Dexes?
    If you are a member of the DMI ecosystem, you can also access products from WeCity. These are available in the ecosystem's PDX.
  • How do I add my products and services to the Dexes Marketplace?
    Once logged in, you can use the top-right menu to select "Add dataset" or "Add dataservice." If you have a data station, you can offer products and services through it.
  • How can I see who is using my products or services?
    Logged in users can access "Incoming requests" in the top-right menu to view all product requests. After approval, agreements are listed under "My agreements," showing details of the counterparties.
  • How can I share my products or services under specific conditions?
    When creating a dataset or data service, select "Add policy" to be directed to the Clearing environment. Here, you can choose from existing policies or set custom conditions. For additional help, contact contact@dexes.nl.
  • What is a data hub, and how do I join?
    A data hub is a space where a select group of DMI ecosystem participants operate under shared transaction rules. Join via the "Join this data hub" button on the hub's homepage.

Access and Authorizations with iSHARE

  • Why do I need to log in with iSHARE?
    iSHARE is the registry for all DMI participants, functioning as an online identification tool to ensure secure transactions within the ecosystem.
  • What is iSHARE?
    iSHARE Foundation is a non-profit organization maintaining a Trust Framework for data spaces. This includes a participant registry for registration and discovery.
  • How do I register on iSHARE?
    Start by registering at www.dmi-ecosysteem.nl/doe-mee. After payment, you will receive an email to complete your registration.
  • How secure is iSHARE?
    iSHARE ensures data sharing remains secure and confidential by implementing encryption and access controls. This minimizes risks like unauthorized access, loss, or theft.
  • How does iSHARE handle my personal data?
    Data privacy and security are safeguarded through encryption and strict access controls.
  • Is iSHARE compliant with European regulations?
    Yes, iSHARE aligns with the Digital Governance Act and follows developments from IDSA and Gaia-X.

The DMI Product and Service Exchange (PDX)

  • What is the DMI-PDX, and how does it relate to the marketplaces of WeCity and Dexes?
    The DMI-PDX is a catalog consolidating products from all DMI marketplaces, including Dexes and WeCity.
  • What does "No Wrong Door" mean?
    "No Wrong Door" simplifies user searches by connecting multiple sources via a single search bar, eliminating the need to check individual sources.
  • What can I do with the PDX?
    The PDX provides an overview of all DMI content, including participant and product ratings based on objective criteria.
  • Can I access logs of my data transactions on the PDX?
    Logs can be requested through the Dexes portal or accessed via your data station.

  • I have a technical issue and cannot share data. How can I contact Dexes?

  • My client hasn’t paid for a service delivered through the DMI ecosystem. What should I do?
    Contact the dispute committee, facilitated by AMS-IX, at contact@dexes.nl.
  • I forgot my iSHARE password. How do I reset it?

  • How do I update authorizations if an employee no longer represents my organization?
